Blue Trane - UFbP # 15

blue trane

so it has been a while since i have posted last.  been a bit busy on other things.

one of the instruments that i have played is the saxophone.  but that was many years ago.  i think that the recent set of songs that i have been releasing my inner saxophone.

blue trane (listen to the original 1957 recording on Blue Train) has a real cool intro with John Coltrane as a single sax, then Coltrane is joined by Lee Morgan (Trumpet) and Curtis Fuller (Trombone) for the signature triple horn trio.  very cool.

i try to emulate the triple horn trio by playing double strings playing the fifth below the melody note.

i hope you enjoy....
